Top 10 Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicles in 2023

Recent years have seen a lot of battery electric vehicles (fully electric cars) emerge to the automotive market and more and more people are adopting this technology. But not everyone is ready to take the plunge with a pure electric vehicle and still they want to switch to a cleaner transportation, which makes plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) a great option as they combine both internal combustion engine and electric powered motor. With many manufacturers releasing year after year a new PHEV, choosing the best plug-in hybrid is becoming difficult as there’s a lot of models to choose from. So if you are not ready to go fully electric, and thinking about getting a plug-in hybrid we listed here our favorite 10 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). By The Way for those who don’t know, plug-in hybrid EVs are a combination of pure electric vehicles and gasoline or diesel powered vehicles, so they have a battery pack with an electric motor, alongside with a gasoline tank with an internal combustion engine which eliminates the range anxiety. This list, of course, is not conclusive as there are many more excellent PHEVs on the market to choose from, but regarding performance, range, space, luxury and in-car technology this list can be very exhaustive.
